NuGold is lead-free and nickel-free, making it much gentler on skin than most mystery metals.

Over time, it naturally darkens and develops a unique patina — that’s just what copper alloys do when exposed to air, moisture, or skin oils. Some people love this antique, lived-in vibe; others prefer to keep it bright and shiny. Either way, it’s easy to refresh.

Cleaning: Wash with warm water and mild dish soap, scrub gently with a soft cloth or brush, rinse well, and dry thoroughly.  If you need a deeper clean you can mix a little baking soda with water to make a cleaning paste.

Heads up: Always dry your NuGold completely after washing. Leaving it damp can cause dark tarnish that’s harder to remove.
